Galileo jewelry is designed and hand-crafted by Teri Tachibana in Laguna, California. Her beach-elegant pieces are inspired by the shapes and colors of ocean and nature. Born and raised in the small Los Angeles suburb of Harbor City, Teri spent her days near the beach as well as the big city. “I strive to design pieces with the right combination of natural beauty and fashion-relevance. I want my jewelry to be fun and unique but also understated enough to throw on everyday.”

After college, marriage, a few years living in Japan, and becoming a stay-at-home mom, Teri’s jewelry -making hobby became a business and Galileo was launched in 2001. Teri is also a wife, mother of two teenage sons, jack-of-all-crafts, and former physical therapist.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES
We will gladly accept returns or exchanges postmarked within 14 days of receipt of your order. Items must be returned in unworn, original condition, carefully packed (remember: these are gemstones, shell, and precious metal), and shipped prepaid via a traceable method.

We will not be responsible for—nor issue refunds on—returns lost in shipping or if postmarked beyond the 14-day return period. Christmas gift returns must be received by January 30th. Please write “Christmas Gift Return” on your documentation.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All jewelry should be handled carefully, as you would anything of value. We recommend wiping with a soft, clean cloth after every wearing to remove any acid or oil residue resulting from contact with your skin. Store all jewelry in an airtight container away from direct sunlight to preserve its natural beauty and prevent oxidization.
